Richmond Ren-Faire
Find Unkindness Art slinging merch in the vendor alley the inaugural Richmond Ren Faire in April! You can read more about this event below:
“The Richmond Ren Faire is a one-of-a-kind, grassroots celebration created by and for Richmond taking place at Dorey Park on April 18th and 19th from 10-6pm. Rooted in community, the Faire brings together local performers, merchants, artists, and cultural organizations that reflect the city’s vibrant creative spirit.
Inspired by the multicultural exchanges of the Silk Road, the Faire honors the diverse ideas, craftsmanship, and storytelling that made the Renaissance a global moment of connection, while shifting the spotlight toward the underrepresented tradesmen, artisans, and everyday people whose work truly shaped the era. By weaving these narratives together with Richmond’s own artistic voices, the Faire becomes both a reimagined history and a living celebration of community.
Across 13 activated acres of Dorey Park, guests will encounter 100+ artisan vendors and food merchants, dozens of historic demonstrations, equestrian and ground combat sports, an expansive lineup of musicians, performers, and storytellers, roaming character actors, immersive environments, and moments of magic at every turn!”
